Hero Arts came out with a smaller version of their very popular Cloud Stamp, so of course I had to have it! I LOVE the clouds. I hadn’t yet used my Stampin Up Butterfly Embosslit folder, so figured I would give it a shot. I really love the look of the embossed butterflies on designer paper. The Orange card base was embossed with the new Stampin Up Square Lattice folder, my new favorite from their collection. The satin ribbon on both cards are Stampin Up and the sentiment on the Orange card is Hero Arts.

I made a bunch of these paper flowers after watching a video by American Crafts on YouTube – you can watch it here. I used the Tim Holtz Fancy Flourish die for the stem of the flower. The designer paper is by the Dear Lizzy collection from American Crafts. The ribbon is Stampin Up, the pearls are Kaiser Craft. The flower is made using the Fabric Paper from the Dear Lizzy collection as well. The sentiment is from Gina K’s Organize It stamp set.

One more medallion stamp and I will chlil for a while
. This one was much quicker to make. I used clear embossing powder to stamp the image on several shades of Stampin Up red card stock. I cut them out and layered them with dimensional adhesive. I used Stampin Up’s Satin Ribbon and Bella Rose Designer Paper and the sentiment is from Stampin Up as well.

Here is a card I made showcasing the Butterfly Medallion stamp by Holly Berry House. It was the first thing I made with the medallions and it took a long time – it probably wasn’t the best stamp to start out on, but I had a lot of fun and I like the way it turned out. The card stock is all Stampin Up, the glitter is the Sakura Stardust Glitter gel pen. I used the Imaginisce iRock Tool and Rhinestones for the embellishments. Ink is Memento Tuxedo Black (my favorite black ink!), Designer paper and Ribbon are both from the Dear Lizzy collection from American Crafts which I got from TwoPeasinabucket.com.

I had seen a group of ladies working on Medallion stamps at the scrapbook convention in June. I left there regretting that I didn’t buy the stamps, and couldn’t for the life of me remember what manufacturer stamp was used at the convention. I did a ton of web searching and ultimately found Holly Berry House. I ordered several of the Holly Berry House medallion stamps from Addicted to Rubber Stamps.com. They had VERY fast shipping and a very nice web site, I was quite impressed! Anyway, they are awesome stamps….you are going to see several of them posted over the next week. The idea is that you stamp it several times and then cut the images into layers. They really look like ornaments….I can’t wait for Christmas time to come around so I can share the ornaments my sister and I are going to be making.
